Uniqlo's September same-store-sales drastically slid 24.7% from 2009 with customers also sliding 14.9%. Uniqlo's same-store-sales have been on a downward trend for most of 2010 though September marks the most significant decrease in terms of sales and customers to date. The culprit; hot weather - in the summer no less. This marks the seventh month this year Uniqlo has experienced a decrease in same-store-sales, with the previous largest decrease in March at 16.4%.
Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to introduce Heattech into Uniqlo stores in August.
